The "What," "Where," "Who," and "Why" of WH Questions

This session will discuss why WH questions are important in the classroom setting. Strategies for supporting both typically developing students and students with language impairments will discussed. Attendees will leave with an understanding of typical development for WH questions and the ability to teach students to discriminate between the different types of WH questions.

This is a meeting for USD 475 SLPs to develop the tools, structures, and follow-up supports needed to sustain AAC practices following the recent Translanguaging/AAC in Action PLC training. SLPs will work together to determine essential next steps, develop practical resources, and design systems that strengthen communication access for all students.
