This PD explores how intentional play, community building practices, and student empowerment can transform early childhood classrooms into joyful, inclusive, and developmentally rich learning environments. We will explore the HOPE framework and how connecting it to our actions will allow students to feel capable, connected, and confident as learners and community members.
This interactive, research-informed workshop is designed for early childhood educators, caregivers, and program facilitators seeking to enrich language development and foundational learning skills in young children. Participants will explore how individualized learning styles, purposeful use of music, and dynamic storytelling can create deeper engagement and more effective learning experiences.
We live in a digital world, surrounded by computers and 24-7 easy access to technology. This session will explore the effects of screentime on young children as it relates to what we know about brain development during this critical stage in life. Participants will also explore strategies for engaging young children that don't involve screentime.
