About me
Samantha Boxberger is a music educator and performer from Leavenworth, KS. She is in her 10th year of teaching overall, and 9th year teaching at JCHS. During her first year, she traveled between FRMS and JCHS. Mrs. Boxberger graduated from Kansas State University in the Fall of 2015, with a B.S in Music Education. She was involved in many organizations ranging from service groups to musical ensembles. She is still active in many music organizations, including the North Central District of KMEA (Music Advocacy Chair), Sigma Alpha Iota, and Tau Beta Sigma. She graduated in June 2025 with her Master of Music Education degree from the University of Kansas. She enjoys performing with community groups, such as the Manhattan Municipal band, Junction City Community Band, the FUMC Community Flute Ensemble, and community musicals. Professionally, she is driven as an educator to incorporate student-driven learning, promote life-long musicianship, and create independent musicians who explore/appreciate music and the arts beyond the band room.
